La Punta

La Punta is the point at the south end of Zicatela beach, it is known for his relaxed atmosphere, and it''s surfing. This is a a great place to enjoy a Pina Colada under a balapa. There are several palapa resterants which one the sand.

The point is an excelent poit break to surf at. Also during low tide a cave becomes exposed wich leades to hidden beaches. Take care not to do this when the surf is high or the tide is comming in!.

Off highway 200 on the opposite end of the at the point turnoff; there is a nice cute place for fantastic fresh juices $ 18-20 pesos for a litter. On the ocean side of the Highway, when you make your; turn; you find the best bakery in town called Pan & Chocolate, open only in the morning.
