Playa “Manzanillo”

 Playa Manzanillo is a beautiful bay, and is  one beach south of  Carizallio.  It is a nice family oriented beach; good place to swim and snorkel. Manzanillo is protected from heavy surf and is often used as a swimming beach when Carizallio has surf.  Rocks, on the south side of the bay, surround it.  You will find tide pools in the rocks perfect for little kids to play in .   There are Palapas along the beach which offer food and drinks during the day.

Coast Walk

 At the top of the Manzanillo stairs there is a road leading out of the cactus point neighborhood.  At the intersection turn right and follow the road to the bluff;  at your right hand side is a viewpoint and stairs which lead you to a beautiful walking path in the rocks along the coastline ending in Playa Principal.  Bring water; it is so beautiful the walk is always longer for the first time visitor.
